Summary:

Advent is a time of waiting. The Old Testament saints waited for God to fulfill His promises to Israel until they came to pass at Christmas at Christ's First Coming. But as New Testament saints, we are still waiting for God to fulfill His promises to us, while we wait for Christ's Second Coming. But what's the purpose of our waiting? And how are we to wait until that Day comes? And what will that Day bring? These are all questions Paul answers for us in Romans 8.
