Advent is a season of waiting: it's a time to look back and reflect on the prophecies that Israel waited for God to fulfill, and it's a time for us as the church to look at some of the prophecies that we are still waiting for God to fulfill. So in this first week, we're going to look back at some of the prophecies God spoke through the prophet Isaiah. What did they mean? What was going on at the time they were given? And what can we learn about God's challenge to us this Advent as He challenges us to wait, too?
