As we prepare for Holy Week, it's important that we understand the symbolism present in the Passover Meal that Jesus celebrated with his disciples on the night He was betrayed. In order to eat the meal, a lamb must be slaughtered. This is the image Paul uses of Jesus as he writes to the church in Corinth about their behavior. What does this image of Christ as a lamb mean? And why should understanding this image affect our faith and the way we live?
