Summary:

Joy is something that defines the Christmas season. In fact, the announcement that the angels brought to the shepherds was "Good news of great joy". They wanted the world to know that Christ has come to dwell among us. This was good news then, and this is good news now, but there are times in our Christian walk when we don't feel that joy of the season or even the joy of our salvation anymore. Interestingly enough, Jesus knew that joy was something we would struggle with in life, and before He went to the cross, He told us how and where we can find joy.
