When you think of the word "humanity", what comes to mind? Positive thoughts our negative thoughts? People are quick to help each other out in times of catastrophe, but people are just as quick to use and abuse others for their own benefit. Are humans essentially good or essentially bad? And is there any hope for us when we consider all of the pain and suffering in the world? The covenant that God made with Adam addresses all of these issues, and points us to hope that we can still hold onto today.
